Anyone here have Dish Satellite?
My wife’s mother has Dish TV Satellite system, it sucks.
Can anyone tell me what the dish charging means?
We have Direct TV satellite System, and we have never heard of this.
When she turns the system on first time everyday it says,
“Satellite Charging.”
WTF is that supposed to mean?

Ok I'm done being silly. What model of receiver is it?
Good point for Fiero. I have seen people do this too. The receiver uses very little power. Good show Dicemanif anything just have her leave the reciever on all the time, everyone i know that has dish just leaves it on and then you have instant access to tv once you turn it on.
also, how old is her equipment. she might be able to call them and get some free upgrades if her stuff is decrepid. or she could pull the im thinking about switching gag and when they say what can we do to change your mind and she can say put in a new dish and receivers for me no charge. :great:
