Anyone with a 2500 Suburban, please help!!

I have an 07 4wd suburban with stock 16's on it. I want to change the wheels to 20's with a 285/55 R20 tire. Will they rub, especially when I am towing my travel trailer? Its about 7K lbs.

My 07 2500 is leveled out and i went with 265 Duratracs. when i back out of my driveway and turn the wheel hard right, i get a slight rubbing but thats about it so not sure bout 285's.

A lot of your fitment success is going to depend on the backspacing of the wheels you choose, as much as the wheel diameter, tire size, diameter, circumfrence, & section width. Too much backspacing & they'll rub on the suspension, too little backspacing & they'll rub on the outside. I would google the major tire manufacturers & check their "tire/wheel fitment guides". Mickey Thompson, Dick Cepek, Tire Rack all have them & they know right up front what will & won't fit cuz they've done all the research.

Thanks for the welcomes and responses. I have gone on a bunch of the sites and when I enter the 2500 suburban, in my year, it always tells me that I only have 16" wheel options. I dont know if its because they didnt make very many 3/4 ton suburbans in the new body style or what the deal is. I have been researching and researching, even dealing with several tire and wheel shops. Its been frustrating trying to figure it out. Hopefully more members here chime in that have the same vehicle as me. Anyway, thanks again. I appreciate it.

That looks good, do you know what the exact parts you purchased to level it and what is the benefit to leveling? I think what I need to figure out is how much bigger the actual diameter of the total wheel and tire when I change to 20" rims. I know the sidewall is lower if I am going with 285/55, but I dont know how much difference it calculates to with the bigger wheel itself.
