Well guys Im just wondering if there is a way to turn off the stabila trac in my 2010 sierra when I turn off traction controll? Sometimes I need to get some wheel spin and slide going when I'm driving up north and its a real pain in the ass when the front brakes kick in and stop me from sliding.

I just want it turned off when I also turn off traction control. Does putting the parking brake on just a hair work? I used to use that trick in my dads Pontiac G5 when it got stuck in the snow. Just one click on the Ebrake and off goes tractioncontroll so you can now spin the wheels to dig out of the snow without the computer stopping them from spinning.

not sure about the trucks, but I know in the cars that have it, if you press and hold the t/c button for about 10-15 seconds, it disables both the T/C and stabilitrak...
