automatic to manual transmission swap?

im looking to see if anyone has done this with there truck and what all had to be done to accomplish this aand how much it roughly cost to do...

What motor do you have?? IF it is the 5.3L you will need to find one from a 4.8L or 6.0L which either are quite rare. And you will need the entire wiring harness. As stephan said it makes a big difference where you live but figure min of $3K.
