Axle swapping

I have a 95 4x4 blazer, how hard would it be to swap the rear axle for one off a newer s10 blazer that has disc brakes? I know I would need to find an axle that has the same gear ratio, I was also thinking of swapping an axle from a zr2 blazer because they have a g80 diff in it and I think they are 1 1/2" longer? Hoping to get the back wheels further out so they match the front.
