Hey guys,

So last night I was going through old emails came across a lot from here and I realize its probably been almost a year since I was on here. With school and working 60-80 hours a week I've barely had time to clean my truck let alone come on the computer..

So I thought I would give you guys a little update on my truck..

Last summer I did a lot like rims and tires, new exhaust, audio and a bunch of random things.
But this summer I haven't really had the time or money to do much with school and all but recently I was able to get a HP Tuners PCM Tune and its probably been the best money I've spent on it.

I'm hoping by next spring when I get it out of storage some more mods will come but I'll see

Anyways, I'll try and get some recent pictures up of it and maybe some old ones..

Cheers everyone!

Welcome back! tell us a bit more about the tune that you had done.
Thanks everyone!

Well I finally bit the bullet to get it done just over a month ago. Bill the guy who did it was awesome, great guy but anyways he completely changed all the maps and fields in the PCM and with the technology now he could tune the truck better than GM could do it back 2001. What I wanted from it was more and crisper throttle response, and all the crap GM threw in the PCM. The truck being a standard Bill could do a lot of changes between my shifts and even to my shifting habits then he also tweeked the rev limiter, idling and removed the governor.

He did say my fuel milage wouldn't a big hit around town and should increase my highway mileage but since the tune I actually haven't notice a difference in my mileage. But all in all I'm very satisfied, the pulls very strong from buttom to top end considering it only being a 4.8 and having over 230,000kms...
