i have a 06 1500, im looking to buy a exhaust system. i want something pretty loud and real good tone but something thats not crazy loud. im not looking to spend alot maybe like 400-500. if any1s got any suggestion let me kno thanks

Welcome to the club. I have a Magnaflow on my '05 Z-71. I like it, but it is more than $500.00. Look at Jegs and Summit for there house exhaust. I think there made by Heartrob exhaust.

i bought just a magnaflow muffler to replace the stocker and if you want duals out the back go to your local shop and see what that will run you. the magnaflow is the best of both worlds, alittle tone and rumble at idile and can get loud if you get on it. sounds good

I just bought a full cat back kit from ebay with the pipes, hangers, muffler, stainless tips, and clamps for $215 shipped. It came with a flowmaster super 44 muffler. It is a 3in in and dual 2.5in out. He also had kits with some different series flomasters, i saw one magnaflow and a few off brand mufflers as well. Mine should be here in about a week and will update when i get it put on.

You can buy a muffler off flowmaster and go to a shop and it would probably cost you around 200 bucks to get it installed. then buy a tip and you are good to go. it looks exactly like a catback exhaust but costs less.

I ran a custom side exhaust with a Flowmaster Super 40 and a single 3.5 inch tip-cheaper set up, custom look, and it sounded great.
