Hey guys new to the forum,

Here is what I am looking for. I am looking for an offroad rim that is in the range of 17-18 maybe even 20 depending on what tires are available. I am going to be putting a 2-2.5 leveling kit on the front. Wondering if anyone had any advice on a nice rim (crome to go with the rest of the truck) and what the max tire size I could fit with no to minimum rubbing. Really dont have much knowledge on tires. I am currently running a 265/75R16 I would like to keep the wide look. Thanks for any info given!!

Adam

Hey guys! Thanks for the welcome and for the links telorvehc! I have been looking at the XD series myself. Also if anyone has any idea on what the max tire size I can fit on the stock suspension/ with the leveling kit greatly appreciated!
Thanks alot! My buddy just bought cooper discover at3's and said he loves them. Otherwise I think I will go with Toyo Open country a/t's. Any thoughts on what to go with? Im looking at probably 60% in town 40%offroad fun usage. Thanks again mfleetwood!
Thanks for the input. How narrow are we talking? And the front end needs an alignment anyway. Its not bad but could use one before it gets worse. I really would like to stick with a wider tire. BTW love your truck. Hope to be able to lift mine like yours. Always been a dream of mine.
Welcome to the club. With a leveling kit and a 17x8 rim you should be able to run a 285/70-17 (narrow 33" tire) without any issues. You will need to align the front end after installing the leveling kit.
is there any chance i could fit 265/70R18? anyone ever try it?
Thanks guys im starting to get it now. Adam are your rims 20x9? I like thr size but might stick with an 18. 20x9 Meaning 20 inches tall and 9 inches wide right? Just confirming. Im kind of a wheel and tire retard.
