I have been thinking about getting these shocks since allot of people were sayin and talking good about them on this site. I have heard these shocks are the Best below fox shocks and king shocks for overall ride comfort compared to cheaper shocks. The rough country shocks gotta go they do not Help at all! I was wondering would they fit on my truck i have a 2008 silverado 1500 z71 with 7.5 inch lift in front and 6/5 inch in the rear. I found these shocks on summit here is a link: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/BSN-33-185576/?rtype=10

If anyone can give me more info with these shocks this is my next plan on buying before this year is over because i'm tired of a rough ride! Also let me know how pleased you are for those LIFTED and NON lifted. Thanks, Jake

I've got Bilstein 5100 leveling shocks and a Readylift 2" block kit on my truck. The ride up front is a little rough but i have them set fully extended on the last notch.Ive had these on for about 4,000 Kilometers and i really like the ride compared to the stock shocks,it is a little bit more harsh but my truck handles better than it did before.Check out the Bilstein site for more info

What about the Bilstein 5150 and 5160? I have been curious about all 3 of the shocks especially the 5100 because these rough country shocks SUCK and my handling sucks if i'm going around a corner and hit a bump wrong it will have some hop too it.. Also every little bump i can feel and feels worse than it actually should!

Shocks alone aren't going to help much with your problem. Your front end is maxed out and the 6.5" RC blocks out back are the biggest problem. Get some adjustable bilsteins (7-9") for the front and set them at 7". That will ease your angles some. Then get a smaller block and AAL for the rear, along with some new shocks. :great:

Yeah i'm thinking about buying me the Bilsteins soon along with some wheel spacer's for the back to stick out like the front i like the look. Also i will be buying a 1.25 body lift from jmanb for $145 shipped still in the box i don't need a 3 inch i would have 10.5 inchs then i'll be fine at about 9. I just have to save up some money and everything to try to get all my suspension done to make the ride better but hopefully this will resolve the issue..
