How many kids can sit behind an SUV without being seen by the driver in the rearview mirrors? This is not a trick question. In fact, knowing the answer could save a child’s life. As many as 62 children could be in that blind zone and you’d never know it. And that’s a huge problem. By ConsumerMan Herb Weisbaum.

I do the same thing. If I'm going to back out of someplace, I always do it quickly and notice if anyone is standing around or in a car next to me. I always go slow and keep my foot on the brake ready to stop at a seconds notice. I get so angry when I see kids (or anyone) acting carelessly when they drive, especially when they just jump into their car and hit their gas to back up and punch it through a parking lot. :grrrrrr:
