BLOWER CONTROLS, FRONT & REAR [Expired Topic]

My 95 Surburbus has issues with the blower controls for the front & rear, and I have heard this might be a common problem. There is no fan control at low, med-low, or med-high from any one of the three control stations (Front AC, Front overhead, or rear). From all three stations High works. My schematics do not give the details of how the fan speeds are controlled. I was thinking that it might be something like a grounding issues at the main controller. Does anyone know if there are any DIY fixes for this problem.

There should be a lot of DIY fixes. Does it blow at all? Meaning, is it dead or does it go on/off without giving you the L, ML or MH?
All three controls will turn the blowers to High, and yes the blowers do work on High. I can understand one controller not working, but all three locations act exactly the same. OFF is off; Low is off; Med-Low is off; Med-High is off; and High is ON and seems to be on high.
The fans are controled by a reostat, I think thats what its called. They used to be under the hood, on the airconditioner houseing. Now I think they are under the dash buy the fan itself look for a plug with about 5 wires near the fan. It should have 2 or 3 screws holding it in place. It may even have 2 plugs going into it, I haven't seen one on the newer burbs, but on the 2000 Impala's they are under the dash between the fan blower and firewall. but the burb has 2 fans so look near the second fan.
IBNobody, do you have a current status on this problem?
