New to the forum. I have a 2016 Silverado 1500 LT with a ac/hear fan problem. When I push the button on, no matter what combination of settings or speed it’s on, the blower comes on for 2.5 seconds and then cuts out. The power button stays on but only the blower itself cuts out. Any ideas on what I’m dealing with?

Hi, welcome to the club.
I had that very problem a few months ago.
Mine turned out to be the blower motor, yours likely is as well.
The test is to check for voltage at the plug when the problem occurs. In other words, if the motor is on high speed and isn't running is there voltage at the connector, if there is, then you have a bad blower. It's a very easy swap.

the motors probably have an issue with debris in the fan blades then the motor over heats and has a temp sensor to shut off the motor power.
probably a rodent issue drop the motor see if it looks good then turn the blower motor on with it out of the duct see if it spins and also check the voltage at the motor connector .
