j cat, Took your advice and replaced the 2 upstream o2 sensors. ($168). I'll have to wait a while to get an accurate mileage reading. This is gonna be one hell of a bargain if I decide to sell it. All I want is what I have in it for cost of truck and parts , I'll chalk up and eat the labor due to it being a learning experience! I'm retired and have nothing better to do.(Well, I do but she doesn't) Other repairs include: front end alignment after $950 worth of Michelins all around, turned rear drums to get rid of pulsating brake pedal, new front air dam, (don't know if it had one originally), got ALL lights working, DRL's, interior, cargo, new tranny tailshaft seal, K&N Air filter, polished headlights so I can now see GOD if they are on hi-beam, been working on lowering tire pressure to get a better ride. Truck is still stiff and I haven't had a load in it that weighed more than 10# yet. Sits real high on it's own and get a lot of steering wandering in crosswinds. I'm thinking the camber needs to be something other than what the manufacturer recommends??? The radio wouldn't put out anything other than AM and the cassette part was dead so it now has a new AM/FM/CD so me and Patsy Cline can go down the road together...Did I mention the part about it being ABSOLUTELY rust free???? Not even where the outer door skin attaches to the door shell!!!!! If I was really ambitious and was gonna keep it I'd strip it back down to the frame and rustproof everything. I'm starting to feel guilty about even thinking about driving this next winter. Whether or not I keep it I'll probably get it "Fluid Filmed" in the next few weeks. nsg
