My classic 2007 HD2500 Duramax 4x4 brake grinds when backing out of my driveway or let go of the brake in reverse and apply and release. Also grinds in forward when applying and releasing brake pedal. Is that normal? It should not be but dealer says that it is normal but I disagree and I see streaks of material on the surface of rotors like if the pads are not seated properly. I believe if they resurfaced the rotors and clean the pads, the grinding noise problem will go away, would it not?
I think that they do not want to do it because warranty does not pay much for all the work they need to do to remove the rotors from a 4x4 to be resurfaced? It is a pain in the butt. What is your suggestion? Thanks
