Brake lights/Flashers ????????? [Expired Topic]

I have a 95 2500 2wd. The brake lights, hazard flashers, and turn signals. don't work. The third brake light works fine when you step on the brakes. But the lower ones don't work, (tailights work, backup works)
I've changed the flasher, checked the bulbs, and the fuses including the ones in the engine compartment.
Can't seem to figure this one out.

Any help appreciated.

If you have installed trailer light wiring, check the connections where they were spliced/plugged into the harness behind the rear bumper. Could be a loose connection there.
I did get a new towing plug istalled a couple of months ago. I'll check it out but all of the flashers/turn signals dont work front or back.
I was wondering if the turn signal switch/ hazard switch. could cause this?
If so how do I get ti the switch?
The turn signal switch is most likely the problem. the brake lights go thru the turn signal switch so that the turn signal can override the individual bulb when you push the brake and have a signal on at the same time. the CHMSL working is the clue there because it works off of the same power source and goes thru the same switch but does not go thru the turn switch because it does not blink. You will most likely find either a bad wire or connection in the turn signal switch harness going up the steering coloumn.
Thanks. Thats what I think it is. I made an appointment with a dealer to have them fix it. Getting to the turn signal seems to be a pain. Especially in this heat.
Yeah, I know what you mean. When I lived up in the north, we usually quit doing work on cars around the middle of October and start up again in March or so. NOW, I like to quit doing work around the middle of July until Maybe the end of September!
