Brake pedal too low

I just picked up my 03 Silverado 4x4 about a month ago and the brakes have always been really soft, almost feeling like the will go to the floor but always stop. Sometimes they act better but still have too much pedal travel do me. I have checked the pads and they're all good and I can't fine any leaks. When the weather warms a bit more I intend to bleed them to see if it helps but wanted to know if anyone else has had this issue. My 99 4x2 didn't have this problem.

The #1 cause of a soft pedal is air in the line. If you find you dont have a vacuume leak to your power booster. That would acutally give a hard pedal. I just replaced my booster and master cyl. from advance auto.com for $130. Pc of cake to install.
Good Luck , we are waiting for it to warm up as well. Snowing today. : ( Russ
