They should have a little contact but they should make any noise or stop the vehicle. Maybe somehow the wrong size brake pad got put on??
Brakes Rubbing!? please help
hey guys im a noob when it comes to brakes/bearings. this is my first time working with either one. but i jacked up BOTH wheels today on my 94 silverado and spun both of them and they spin freely for about 5 seconds then stop and they make a grinding noise.. so i took the wheel off and notices BOTH rotors were rubbing the brake pads and they were very hard to spin. they wernt wobbling or anything just rubbing, is this normal?! thanks guys
