Wow, I remember those days of living in the Northwest. One day I needed to go out in a day like that and I jumped in my old Jeep CJ-5 and couldn't even move, then I got out, locked the hubs, put it in 4-hi and had no more problems. That was like 15 years ago though....memories.
I remember that day very well and thankfully I only live 5 miles from work.
It always amazed me that one after another tried to make it down that hill. Too bad for the drivers and parked car owners, but what a riot to watch!:lol:
We had the worst ice storm that i can remember here in Central Missouri last month. The ground temp was warm enough that the roads were not too bad but there were trees and powerlines down everywhere.I was one of the lucky ones, i only had about 2 or 3 small limbs broke and our electricity was only off for 8 hours.I drive a snowplow for the state and i hate ice. I would rather have a foot of snow.
