Ok, I am long over due with an update on this so I started a new topic.
this is revision #4 from the original project. I have had several temporary consoles in place for a month or so at a time and found problems with most of them. Originally I was going to have a display in the back of the center console along with the DVD player. That proved to be a bad idea. The screen was too low and the kids bumped into the DVD player ever time they got in or out of the truck.
Currently I have a center console from a 2001 Yukon that I have hacked up and mounted the DVD player in and moved the LCDs to the headrests. The headrests I am using now are modified H2 headrests.
I have several pictures of the headrests and consoles here -->

they are a little too large to include in the actual post.
If any body has questions or comments please feel free. This is a pretty dynamic project.
Sorry for the delay in getting back to this.[/img]
