I had this happen after doing a bunch of troubleshooting it turned out to be a broken shifter cable under the drivers side carpet. the selector showed that the truck was in park but it was not in park at the tranny. I went under and clicked the tranny into park and then she started. Try starting in all gears?
Another time on a different truck it was simply a bad connection... check/clean tighten all connections... wire brush, electrical contact cleaner and some dielectric grease is the cure for bad connections.
