Anyone know why the speedometer could be reading too fast? It has the original tires and wheels still on. My buddy recommended changing the speed sensor, but I’m unsure if the 1996 year has one. Thanks for the help.192.168.0.1 routerlogin 192.168.l.l

11 Silverado Engine knock/piston slap?

So I recently bought an 11 Silverado with the 5.3L. I know it is common for these engines to have some piston slap for the first minute after start up on a cold day, but on mine it has a noise that sounds like maybe piston slap but it doesn't really go away until my temp gauge reads close to 190...

2003 Chevy Suburban starts But won’t run

Whine noise when accelerating

Just bought an 01 1500 4x4 5.3 extended cab 122k, my first Silverado. Once I hit 20mph or so there’s a very loud whine when accelerating but is quiet when you’re not touching the gas or if in neutral revving it there’s no noise as well. When I let off the gas the whine almost turns to a grind...
