I have a 99 Suburban. I had the chime module pulled a couple of years ago because I did not like all the warnings. Now, I think maybe I want to disable one or two warnings and put the module back in. One function that I want to keep is 'headlights on' when I leave the vehicle.

Can anyone tell me what all the original chimes were for and which plugs control which chime?? I have a module made by Invotronics; it has 7 spades poking out of it and I hope to simply break off the ones I don't want, and then replace the module in its socket.

Any help will be appreciated.

Regards,

Thanks for the advice. I had hoped for an effortless way to get my answer, but I'll go to Radio Shack and proceed as you advised. Good tip about cutting the lugs instead of bending them off. Thanks again.
