Awesome forum, so much knowledge to tap. I have an 05 Chevy Silverado 1500. Periodically, my climate system is blowing only heat on just the drivers side. It does not matter if I am running the A/C, just regular vents, or the heater, it just randomally flips to max heat on the drivers side. The passenger side continues to remain at whatever my settings were at, just the drivers side changes. It only corrects by shutting the engine off for about 5 sec, and then on restart it is fine the rest of the trip. Has anyone else had this issue? Please help me.

its probably the door actuator. a very common problem. the part is about 40 dlls. good luck. dont forget to post back if you find a solution.
