ok i have a 1979 chevy P U
it already has vortec heads on it
what all would i need to put the fuel intected intake on it
(computer and wiring wise)

Look at Edelbrock and Holley systems, I prefer Edelbrock I have good luck with it before on a truck similiar to yours.
For an older truck these stand alone systems dont require any other type engine computer, they have their own controller and just require a 12v power source.
Both systems are an easy add on for older engines.

I agree with checking out edelbrock, you can buy a full kit from them, one stop shopping that will work!!
