2000 K3500, 7.4l auto
Had the battery disconnected for about a month.
Cargo cab light stayed on.
Disconnected the light, reconnected the battery.
Cranks great, fires, then dies.
No codes.
New fuel pump, fuel regulator, cap, rotor, wires, plugs.
Checked all the fuses, and all good.
Any ideas????

Did you try spraying starter fluid into the throttle body?

You could be right, needs a comma, not a period.

When my 1998 Blazer did this, I found the oil pressure sender by the distributor had come unplugged. On that system, the fuel pump would cut off if no oil pressure was recognized after startup. The system would prime, the engine would crank, fire, and die because the fuel pump had cut off when that sensor didn't report oil pressure after the engine fired up. Maybe the 2000 is setup similarly?
