Hello, Can someone tell me where the Distributor Timing Bypass connector is located. I am trying to set the timing on my 1988 Silverado 1/2 ton, 305 V8 & can not find the above mentioned connector.

Yep, it's probably behind that black plastic cover on the firewall by the distributor. It's a small 14/16 guage wire & on '88 it's brown with a black tracer.
