I'm pretty sure the active displacement on demand was implemented in the next generation Burbans.
Even with the fuel management it is not near 50% fuel savings.
Not sure about the camper/trailer as I have no experience with that.
Does the 1999 Chevy Suburban have Active Fuel Management new-to-me 99 suburban ~
Bought 99 suburban c1500 vortec v-8. Does this model vortec have the same automated fuel management system that shuts down four cylinders on straight highway? is there really anything out there that can get 50 percent (or even less) gas mileage? what size camper trailer should i buy for safety/driveability and is a tow package a must?
