Okay, it's time for a new set of brakes on my '91 V1500 sub. I have been looking online, and kinda like the idea of drilled/slotted rotors. My only concern is that I do a lot of offroading. Mud, dirt, and sand. How much of an issue am I going to have with them? I worry about mud and dirt packing into the slots and holes. Anybody have any input?

I won't spend the extra money on slotted rotors if you spend alot of time in the mud.

If your thinking the slot's will fill up with mud? They don't, and if they do. The heat and centrifugal force will clean them out. They do run about 120* coller on the road though, and are a huge help in the rain and snow. (Channel water of the face of the rotor and pad). If you want a long wearing rotor and pad set up. Look into the Cryo Treated Rotors. They last on average at LEAST 100% longer than conventional cast iron rotors.
