It's possible you knocked the lock linkage off in the locked position. I had a similar problem on my '97. I was able to open it with a pair of long needle nose pliers, reaching in the top of the door with the window down, and grab the linkage and work it open.
Driver side Door won't open....
My driver side door, of my 98 c1500 WT, recently refused to open. I have replaced the interior door handle but notice that the exterior one was in bad shape. It wasn't broken so I left it for another weekend. The exterior handle finally broke, I had even bought the replacement in anticipation of the fix. So I walked around to get in and open the door from the inside and it will not open. I have no clue how I should go about opening my door. Any insight would be fantastic thank everyone!
