I tried searching for info on them, but I couldn't find much. Are they worth it, both performance or MPG wise? I don't tow much with the truck and if I do it's almost all highway where the fans are mostly useless(not sure if that makes a difference ). Any info is greatly appreciated!

BTW it's going on the truck listed in my signature.

Electric fans will get you a little bit of both mph & performance because once you're over 20-30MPH there's enough air flowing through your radiator that they won't be coming on any more. Where your mechanical fan runs all the time, the electrics will be controlled by a thermal switch, & when they're off, there's no parasitic loss. Just be sure you use a good fan shroud with them. They won't be as efficient if you just mount them directly to the rad core where they would be limited to just drawing air from the area of their diameter
