Hi everyone, I am new to the truck world and trying to learn as I go. My truck is a 2007 Silverado 5.3L Vortec Flex 4x4. I heard from someone the engine should have more of a usual V8 rumble and engine noise, but mine seems to have that plus a sewing machine effect. I can hear many metal ticking and clicking from the cylinders Im guessing? Oil lifters if Ive done my homework right. But I feel they're too loud and not sure what this means. What do you think?

Secondly, why is that round pulley bobbing towards the bottom? The frame speed on my iphone cam didnt allow it to show you, but the largest round pulley is actually moving a very small amount, which Im assuming is why that small black one is bobbing. Any insights? Thank you!!

Heres the link to the video.

the pulley rotation looks good/ normal.

the engine noise is more of fan rotation. not that bad .

what oil are you using ? synthetic 100% ? is the oil dexos GM approved spec ? also what oil filters ? use the ac delco/wix/napa gold these are very high quality filters.
