Did anyone watch extreme 4x4 this weekend and see that Duramax they built. I think it came in at 923 hp and 1600 ft/lbs or something like that.

It was somewhere high like that. I saw that, and thought how awesome it would be to stick in a street truck. I'm sure one could easily roast the tires on a truck. One thing confused me though about the heads they put on the engine, the heads were perfectly flat. There appeared to be no combustion chamber at all, and said they were losing compression with those heads; how? Seems like the compression would go up.

I THINK diesels have the combustion chambers built into the top of the pistons.

they were running with 65 pounds of boost with those numbers and went up to 80 before they blew a hose. i dont care who you are that is crazy. i could only imagine the scream from the turbos but i bet it was MUSIC.
