So hi everyone, I used to come around here a little bit now and then. Got heavy into the offroad scene, and put my truck to good use. Now, driving around town in my little jeep I realize how much I miss having a pretty truck and I think its time to go bumper to bumper, tires to roof and fix/restore/clean up everything.
I've been searching for some time now for paint. My truck has the garnet red (wa8815) paint on it from the factory. Seems to be a fairly rare color, and was only used for two years. Nobody except ppg has it listed online, and its 350-500 dollars a gallon!
just curious if anybody else has this paint and has redone it, if they used other brands and where they got it. Really gonna be upset if i'm going to have to fork out an engine rebuild's worth of money for paint alone.
