Has anyone had this problem? What is the fix if so. Every time we shut off the rig it defaults to the "rock" EQ setting. Kind of frustrating....

What year is your Tahoe and what is the model of your radio? AM/FM/CASS/CD/MP3/Etc.?

I had this happen on a 1999 Pontiac Sunfire. About 1 month later the display went out and it fried. Got a replacement unit off eBay for $100 and it lasted fine until the vehicle was wrecked.

Make sure to re-save the pre-set after you have the desired Eq setting. It may be going back to default when you turn it off.

OK, I understand. My 2002 Trailblazer lets you set a different EQ setting for each station. So If I have a country station, I can set the EQ for country. If it's rock, I can choose and save rock. News I can save it as news/talk. etc. You have to save the EQ setting for each station, but it's nice once it's done.
