Has anyone replaced the factory subwoofer in a newer Tahoe with the Bose system. My wife complains that there isnt enough thump. We need to utilize that location for space reasons. I would put in a console style sub but this just seems easier. Also what would be the easiest way to run an aftermarket amp to the factory stereo?

If it has a factory sub it has an amp built in somplace.

Hell even my Fiero sub has a factory amp.

Now if you are installing a bigger sub you may need a bigger amp.

Just check the wireing diagram for your vehicle, I'm not familiar with it. But I'd be willing to bet it has a factory amp.

There are a dozen ways to skin this cat. Check for the factory amp and just try to replace it where it's at. If you wanted to add another one, and it's big, just put it under a seat where it's out of the way.

So with the Bose system in there I know that it has an amp, however I am not sure of the output. I am looking to add a new 10" sub, or maybe see if I can shoehorn a 12 in the factory hole. Where is the best place to get the wiring diagram?
