I have a 2002 Trailblazer EXT 4wd. The fan clutch was running on high all the time. I thought the fan clutch was out. So i bought a new one. Didn't fix it. Fan is still running on high and service engine light is on but it comes on stays on and some days it goes off for a little while. It's still giving the same code. Low fan on with High fan running (1482 I think). I checked voltage to the plug, and it's getting voltage, relays are fine, fuses are fine? Anyone have this problem?????? Please Help!

Usually it is the electronic clutch that fails that causes your problem, this time it appears that something elses has failed causing the computer to tell the fan to run, maybe a temperature sensor

Gee, makes you fond of the old thermal fan clutches.
I'm sure the electronic version saves a gallon or two of gas, but more expensive to service.
