Hey guys whats up? Just bought my first truck and I only want to do a few things to it. Its a 2011 Silverado LT extended and I wanted to put some parts on it. The reason I started this thread is because my buddy just bought a 2010 Duramax 6.6 and he was told that if he bought exhaust it would void the warranty. I wanted to buy a K & N cai possibly the filter too, a chip, 2" leveling kit and force II flowmasters. Will this void my warranty at all? Thanks Guys.

All i can say is keep the stock parts and if you have a warranty issue change them back, thats what id do
Also I heard something about buying a whole kit with the filter and cai what does that consist of or just those two?
usually a intake tube, cone filter, and a heat shield or housing, i have a pic of my volant intake in my profile album if that helps
Thank you I hope someone else helps me out with the warranty info ahah.
Since its a 2011, there could be warranty issues, especially with the exhaust and the chip. The CAI wouldn't be too much of an issue, you could always put the stock one back on if the need arises.
Always check with your dealer.I know that my dealer installs Exhausts and CAI's but if you install them,it may void your warranty.Check with your dealer to find out for sure
They told me the whole installation thing doesnt matter. They said no CAI because of the holding dirt issue but cat back is fine.
What do you mean by the "holding dirt" issue?
