Hey guys. I have a question about converting my 02 burbs front clip to a later model. I've seen a lot of them converted to the 06. Is it possible to do it to like a 2010? I know anything is possible with determination and fabrication but can it be a bolt on thing?

Ps I posted this under another account and was unable to access that one. Sorry for the duplicate.

this would be an interesting idea...instead of buying a new truck, buy new body parts. if youdecide to do this, take lots of photos, I agree that anything can be done with determination and fabrication...i wonder how much it would take to put a fron clip on thers

The same model truck, it's very do able; but when a new gen is released, very little will align.
The conversion kits to change one gen of a truck to look like a newer gen have the mounting holes, brackets, etc in the right location for the generation it is to be used on.

The body lines are different. It would look odd with nothing done at the rear of the front fenders where they meet the door. I stumbled across some pics of one of these conversions in process and they did some reshaping at the rear of the fender to make it blend with the body lines on the door. It looked good, but looks like a lot of work to make it look right.
