Fuel problem

1490 Views 1 Reply 2 Participants Last post by  84fiero123
I have a 1987 Suburban, I have replaced every sensor I can think of and 3 other mechanics can think of. It is dumping fuel like crazy. I tried new injectors, they dumped even worse than the old ones. So far I have replaced or rebuilt- Coolant temp sensor, 1-oxegyn sensor, Throttle position sensor, fuel pressure regulator, fuel pump relay, and the injectors.

Any help would be apprecaited.

Thanks
Tom

Ignition modules control, to a degree fuel. I didn’t see that.

Fuel pressure regulator. More of a problem usually in vehicles with higher fuel pressure. 80s trucks ran under 15 lbs of pressure if I remember right. TBI anyway.

Just some quick thoughts before I go out and plow some more snow.
