So i have a 2002 Gmc Sierra 5.3 v8, k&n air intake system with 109,565 miles on it.. I have a brand new fuel filter (less the 900 moiles on it), i use seafoam every 3 months, (currently a month into it).

No new fuel pump.

So I tried starting it one day and it took awhile for it to start, like 6 seconds. I checked the battary and starter and all seems to be working excellent (as well as it should be). Some people told me its my fuel preussure regulater that is going bad. So what i did to check it was, after driving home from work one day. I opened the hood and took the hose off the fuel pressure regulator. I small bit of moisture and Smoke came out. Would that mean my regulartor is bad? It only happens if the car hasn't been usedd after 20 mins or more.
