so my brother got two sets of headlight covers kicking around the garage since he never bother to put one of the sets on and i was thinking about painting it white just to see how it will look like having them on in the day i will of course take them off at night but my problem is will on coming traffic see my turn single or is there a certain type of paint i can get so its transparent i was going to order the clear set and try painting them but since he got a couple of sets of smoked i would just take his.

I know some guys who have done their tailights....you can see the brake lights etc through the paint fairly well both day and night. Go to Automotivetouchup.com Touch Up Paint, Aerosol Spray Paint and Touchup Paint Accessories | AutomotiveTouchup | 888-710-5192 and get your exact color code in white and some clear. You probably dont want to do more than 3 coats of white. Then clear them and buff to a shine!

Had them painted on my old Avalanche I loved the look but took them off when I was driving..

Some of the guys around here who have ricers got clear covers and painted the inside of the cover leaving cutout areas for their headlight and turn signals. I dont like how that looks and have never seen it on a truck done that way...just throwing out ideas!

I think ill go with all whited out if not ill leave a strip of smoked where the blingers are for in the day time
