I installed aftermarket headlights on my 2000 silverado and since then the right headlight is dimmer then the left headlight and also keeps burning out. If anyone could help me with some suggestions on why this is and a possible way to fix this. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

what is the brand and where did you buy them from?

Did the new headlights come with bulbs also? Many of the aftermarket headlights out there come with pretty crappy bulbs. Try putting in a quality brand name bulb (Sylvania, Philips etc...), it could alleviate your issue.

@ Telorvehc I just put in sylvania silver star H1 St lights. I'll reply back with the results tonight when I can really see if that worked.

did you put in new headlight assemblies or bulbs?

the whole headlight assemblies. The newer bulbs are working the lights look pretty much the same.

yeah like telorvehc said they come with cheap bulbs, that was most likely your reason
