Looking for expert advice - for real... She won't shift all of a sudden, can manually shift to 2nd and 4th no overdrive. Park and reverse are fine and lost the speedometer. Already replaced the speed sensor and someone suggested the buffer which I did. And of course did a Trans. service which it really did not need.

Any idea's????? Has about 55K miles on this motor and transmission. Truck has 205,000

Welcome to the club, farmgirl. Theres a few members on this site that have trans experiance, so I'm sure when they get on the site they will be able to help you.

Hey Farmgirl, you need to post this in the appropriate technical forum where it will be seen by more members who probably know the sander to your questions. Welcome to GMTC and I am sorry i cannot answer your question. ck

Welcome to the Club. I'm not sure but you may have lost a shift coil. That happened in a S-10 that I own.
