Hello everyone my names Jason and I'm a 22 year old Paramedic from michigan. I have a 1994 chevy W/T regular cab that I've owned since I was 16. The engine blew up on me when I was 18 and since then it was just kind of put on the back burner. Well I got the itch to start working on it about a year ago, and we recently have put a brand new engine in it, and it has become my new project truck, though I'm not exactly sure what I want to do with it...gotta get it running first! Still have plenty of work to do! Its been great in helping me learn more about working on vehicles. Best way to learn is to do!

Welcome aboard Jason. Sounds like a great project truck. What motor did you put in it? What are your plans for it?

The fuel pumps kaput/ the fuel lines were dry rotted and snapped when we took the filter off to do a fuel pressure test...so working on replacing the pump and lines hopefully next week.

We put a V6 4.3L in it. We bought the engine a couple years ago. At the time it was going to be my daily driver so I wanted the engine with better MPG...kinda wish I would of gone with a 350 though now. Not entirely sure what I can do to beef up the V6. I figure CAI, Headers, performance exhaust (been looking at some gibson kits). Lots of body work for me to do too, dents, rusted rocker panels, rust that's got to be taken care of, paint, new grill etc. Any suggestions as to what I can do performance wise would be greatly appreciated!
