ok guys aunt gave me 1986 gmc truck with 305 replace the plugs truck ran ok but not great ...decided go head turn it up completey so changed wires,cap,and button went to start it wouldnt start...took control module have it checked it was bad...changed it and still will not start..so what am i missed or doin wrong ..please help if u guys think could have crossed distiburtor wiress or something....

does the motor crank over at all? when you turn the key what happens? and whats the button? the rotor?
