My son has a 1987 1/2 ton that had a 305 in it. He got the thing hot and we are trying to install a 92 350 in the beast. The alt is on the wrong side and the wire plugs are not the same. What/how do I hook the alt up? Thank you for any help.

Thank for the reply. I think I have a 1 wire alt that came with the motor.
