My 1999 suburban is making a thudding noise underneath the truck. We noticed it today and so we went to a tire shop after we noticed a bubble. So we found out we needed three tires "not cheap for this truck" and then got back on the road. The truck is still making the noise any suggestions on what to check out to fix. This is really scaring me. Please help.

It's nice that you got some new tires. Trying to remotely diagnose sounds coming from under you vehicle can be difficult. Having a mechanic you can trust is worth his/her weight in gold.

Take it back to the tire shop to make sure you don't have something like an out of round tire. Could be something simple like a u-joint on it's way out, or more complicated like a bent driveshaft.

Burbs are notorious for making weird sounds with the rear windows down, so watch out for that. Keep us posted with what you find so others can benefit from your experience.
