[Chatsworth Doc]

Hey this is Doc from SoCal. I'm new to the pickup truck world. At 50+ yrs old I've never owned a truck. I'm tired of asking friends for help or renting so the time has come for me to get my own. I want truck for household chores, trailing my bike and maybe a travel trailer is in the future for the Mrs. and I. Yeah, I want it to do everything.....

So I'm starting my homework on this, asking questions and reading up on the topics. Any advice will be appreciated.

Hey Doc, Welcome to the site, any model Chevy pickup would be ideal for around the yard work and also hauling a trailer, i would go with a 1500, plenty of power for hauling and carry loads to the dump and many other daily tasks.

Sup Doc? You can't go wrong with a Chevy truck. Look for trucks that are equipped with the towing package if a travel trailer might be in your future.
