Hey guys

Reason I am becoming member is because I just purchased a 2007 GMC Sierra 1500 SLT. I do not know much of anything about trucks but have always wanted to learn. I was curious could my truck have 15" rims with 33" tires? I did purchase a 2" Rough country front leveling kit to allow more room without rubbing. Thanks and look forward to learning from you all.

Welcome to GMTC.

My understanding is that you cannot have wheels any smaller than 17" but you should definitely be able to fit 33" tires with a 2" leveling kit.

Welcome and congrats on your new ride!!! Sorry, I do not know the answer to your question. It does seem like the rim would be too small to me as well...I've never heard of a 15" rim on a 2007 but I don't have a great deal of experience either.
