Hey, everyone. I hope this is in the right forum. Here's my issue: Sometimes my truck idles pretty fast. It tops out at about 26mph when it idles high (when it idles high, it idles at about 1200rpm) It's not like it is just warming up, because i'll drive it somewhere and shut it off for a minute and then when it turn it back on, it does the high idle.
It used to hardly ever do this, but it is happening more and more so I am getting sort of concerned.
Any idea what I need to do to fix it?
The truck is a 1997 Regular Cab Sierra V6 auto. Thanks a lot for any help.
